• What size whould our graphic header be?
   

   

  The header on your site, which contains your logo, should be 820 x 131 pixels. Any smaller will leave blank space, any larger will distort the page layout.

Media Management

• How to name images?
   

   

  Images are best named according to the following convention:

  1. no special characters, only A to Z and 0 to 9!
  2. strip spaces out of the name
  3. but you can use underscore or hyphen

  For example, an image you have named "kitty's birthday at church 001":

  •  take out the apostrophe
  • take out spaces

  Gives you a few good options, so make yourself a standard and stick with it!

  • KittysBirthdayAtChurch001
  • Kittys_Birthday_At_Church_001
  • kittys-birthday-at-church-001

  My personal preference? Probably the underscores and no capitals, so I'd have kittys_birthday_at_church_001.

  Note: if you do put special characters in, you'll get errors, and may cause problems with your site!

• Where should I put my images?
   

   

  You need to put your images somewhere under "stories". That's where the content editor looks. There are already some folders within "stories", so if there's one that fits, use it. If you plan on uploading images for a topic, but can't see a folder that fits, then create a new one.
